GIMS Greater Noida Staff Nurse 2026 — 100 Posts, Last Date Extended to 7 October

GIMS Greater Noida is recruiting 100 Staff Nurses on a regular basis under Advertisement No. GIMS/2026/Manpower/NT-03/10, and a notice of 8 September has extended the last date for the online form to 7 October 2026. Selection is by a computer based test, and the entry has two routes — a four-year B.Sc Nursing or a two-year post-basic B.Sc, or a GNM diploma plus two years of experience in a hospital of at least 50 beds. Both routes need registration as a Nurse and Midwife with a State or the Indian Nursing Council. Basic pay is ₹44,900 with grade pay ₹4,600, and physically disabled candidates of every category pay no fee at all.

Eligibility

• GIMS is an autonomous institute under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, at Greater Noida in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
• All 100 posts are Staff Nurse on a regular basis, with grade pay ₹4,600 and basic pay ₹44,900.
• Category-wise split: Unreserved 40, OBC 27, SC 21, EWS 10 and ST 2.
• Horizontal reservation applies as prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh — among them 5 posts for Divyangjan (OL, one leg affected) and 4 for dependants of freedom fighters.
• Qualification route one: B.Sc Nursing, a four-year course, from an Indian Nursing Council or State Medical Faculty recognised institute or university, or B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic), a two-year course, from an Indian Nursing Council recognised institute or university; together with registration as Nurse and Midwife with a State or the Indian Nursing Council.
• Qualification route two: a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council recognised institute, board or council; registration as Nurse and Midwife with a State or the Indian Nursing Council; and two years of experience in a hospital of at least 50 beds acquired after the above qualification.
• The decisive date for calculating age is 1 July. A candidate must have attained 21 years and must not be more than 40.
• Persons dismissed by the Union Government or any State Government are not eligible for appointment to any post in the service.
• Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination 2026.
• The brochure asks candidates to confirm they hold the qualifications and are within the age limit before starting the application form.
• A candidate who does not meet the qualifications, or who gives wrong information or conceals facts, is responsible for the consequences, and the appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the candidature at any stage.

2. Confirm you hold the required qualification and are within 21 to 40 years as on 1 July before filling the form.
3. Apply online through the link on www.gims.ac.in. The window opened on 10 August 2026 and now closes on 7 October 2026 after the extension.
4. Pay the fee — ₹1,298 including GST for UR, OBC and EWS, ₹944 for SC and ST candidates who are original residents of Uttar Pradesh, and nothing for physically disabled candidates of any category.
5. If you are claiming horizontal reservation, pay according to your own base category rather than the horizontal one.
6. Take a printout of the submitted application form and keep it.
