India Post GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July-2026 — Registration Open
Department of Posts (India Post) · Post Date:
Applications open — last date 21/09/2026
Short Information
This is a fresh engagement cycle, not a continuation of an earlier one — anyone who registered for an earlier GDS schedule must register afresh, since old registration numbers will not carry over. Gramin Dak Sevaks are not regular central government employees; they work 4-5 hours a day and Branch Postmasters must arrange their own premises to run the branch post office, points worth knowing before applying. The Department has also warned candidates to trust only emails ending in @indiapost.gov.in or @indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, given how often fake GDS result messages circulate.
