Eligibility
- Admission is to Class VIII at the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for the academic term beginning July 2027.
- Candidates must be not less than 12 years 6 months and not more than 14 years old as on 1 July 2027 — the age is reckoned against the term start date, not the exam or application date.
- The examination is pen-and-paper based: a descriptive paper covering Mathematics and English, plus a multiple-choice General Knowledge paper.
