Short Information

UPSC has notified the Engineering Services Examination 2027, its annual recruitment to Group A/B engineering services across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. A candidate can apply for only one of these four categories, so pick carefully before submitting the form. The Commission expects around 480 vacancies overall, including 19 reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, but calls this figure provisional. The Preliminary exam falls on 31 January 2027 and the Main exam on 18 June 2027, so this is a long-cycle recruitment — the application window itself closes in three weeks.
