Eligibility
- Engagement is purely on a fixed-tenure contractual basis for 3 years, extendable by up to 3 more years as required — this is not a regular/permanent appointment.
- Minimum post-qualification experience required ranges from 3 years (FTE-I) to 18 years (FTE-VI), depending on the grade applied for.
- A minimum current/last-drawn monthly gross salary is also required for each grade — from ₹40,000 (FTE-I) up to ₹90,000 (FTE-VI) — except for the M&HS cadre.
- Only relevant field experience (mining/metal/manufacturing industry, or equivalent with supporting proof) is counted; training, internship, apprenticeship, fellowship or academic-project experience does not count.
- Consolidated pay ranges from ₹75,400 (FTE-I) to ₹1,69,600 (FTE-VI) per month depending on grade, plus PF, HRA, gratuity, medical facilities and leave encashment as per HCL's scheme.
