UP Home Guard PET 2026 Rescheduled — New Admit Card on 13 September, Exam from 15 September

Short Information

The Physical Efficiency Test for UP Home Guards Enrolment 2025, which was to begin on 14 September 2026, was postponed on 10 September because of continuous rain and waterlogging at test venues. The Board has now fixed the new start date: the PET will be conducted from 15 September 2026, and revised admit cards go up on uppbpb.gov.in on 13 September. The line that matters most is easy to skip — admit cards issued for the earlier dates are not valid for the revised dates. Carrying the old one to the ground will not get you tested, so every candidate must download the fresh admit card and go by the centre, date and time printed on it.

• This concerns candidates called for the Physical Efficiency Test under Uttar Pradesh Home Guards Enrolment 2025.
• The PET proposed from 14 September 2026 was postponed until further orders by the Board notice of 10 September 2026, in view of continuous rain across the state and waterlogging at test venues, and for the convenience, safety and smooth conduct of the process.
• By its notice of 11 September 2026 the Board has fixed the PET to be conducted from 15 September 2026.
• Revised admit cards will be uploaded on the Board website, https://uppbpb.gov.in, on 13 September 2026.
• Admit cards issued for the earlier PET dates are not valid for the revised dates. Only the revised admit card counts.
• Candidates must reach the examination centre printed on the revised admit card, on the date and at the time printed on it.
• A candidate facing difficulty in downloading the admit card can call the helpline number 08065075069.
• The Board states that all examination-related information and instructions are issued only through its own website, so candidates should keep checking uppbpb.gov.in.
• Both notices carry number PRPB-B (Home Guard Cadre)-02/2025 and are signed by the Additional Secretary (Recruitment) and Controller of Examinations, UPPRPB, Lucknow.

How to Apply

1. On 13 September 2026, open https://uppbpb.gov.in and use the admit card link given on the Board website.
2. Download the revised PET admit card — not the one you downloaded earlier, which is now invalid.
3. Check the centre, date and reporting time printed on the revised admit card; the PET runs from 15 September onwards and your slot may not be the first day.
4. If the download fails, call the Board helpline on 08065075069.
5. Keep watching uppbpb.gov.in — the Board says every further instruction for this PET will come through the website and nowhere else.
