UPSC has declared the written result of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026, held on 19 July 2026. Eligibility

  • Candidature of every listed candidate is provisional, subject to being found eligible in all respects.
  • Original certificates for age, educational qualification, community, EWS status and other claims must be produced at the Personality Test — keep them ready now.
  • Candidates claiming SC, ST, OBC, EWS or Ex-Servicemen benefits must produce original certificates issued on or before the closing date of the application, that is 12 March 2026.
  • Within fifteen days of the written result, every candidate who qualified for PST or PET must log in at upsconline.nic.in and update their educational qualification status — whether appearing or appeared — and upload proof of passing the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who do not complete that update are not allowed to participate in further stages, and the Commission will not entertain any correspondence about it.

How to Apply

  1. Open the written result PDF and search it for your roll number rather than scrolling — it runs to several hundred pages.
  2. If your roll number is listed, log in to upsconline.nic.in straight away. Do not wait for a separate intimation.
  3. Update your educational qualification status and upload proof of passing the qualifying examination within the fifteen-day window.
  4. Begin collecting originals for age, education, community and EWS claims — these are checked at the Personality Test, not later.
  5. Reserved-category candidates should confirm their certificate is dated on or before 12 March 2026.
  6. Watch upsc.gov.in for the PST and PET schedule, which is announced separately.
