RRB Technician CEN 02/2026 — CBT from 6 to 9 October, Application Status Out

Short Information

RRBs have fixed 6 to 9 October 2026 as the tentative CBT dates for Technician Grade I and Grade III under CEN 02/2026. Your application status (provisionally accepted, conditionally accepted, or rejected with reasons) has been visible at rrbapply.gov.in since 11 September, so check it now rather than waiting for the admit card. Entry to the exam hall uses Aadhaar-linked biometrics. Make sure your Aadhaar is unlocked in UIDAI and shows your name and date of birth exactly as on your Class 10 certificate.

Eligibility

• Covers all candidates who applied under CEN 02/2026 for Technician Grade I and Technician Grade III posts.
• Scrutiny of applications is complete. Each application is marked provisionally accepted, conditionally accepted, or rejected — rejected ones show the reason.
• Accepted candidature is still provisional and can be cancelled at any stage if the application turns out to be inconsistent, deficient or falsified.
• Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is done at the exam centre before entry. Bring your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar.
• Your Aadhaar must be unlocked in the UIDAI system on exam day, even if you verified it while applying, and should carry your correct name, Class 10 date of birth, a recent photograph, updated biometrics, address and father's name.

How to Apply

1. Log in at rrbapply.gov.in with your credentials to see your application status.
2. If you have not verified your Aadhaar yet, do it from the same login.
3. About 10 days before 6 October, check your RRB's website for the exam city and date slip. SC/ST candidates can download the travel authority from the same link.
4. Download your e-call letter about 4 days before the date shown on your slip.
