UPSSSC has released the advance intimation of examination district for the Excise Constable Mains Examination under Advertisement No. 08-Exam/2026, against 722 vacancies. The paper is proposed for 20 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. One condition decides whether you can see any of it: the district intimation opens only after you have paid the prescribed mains examination fee, and the same gate applies to the admit card that follows. Eligibility
- This applies to all candidates shortlisted for the mains examination under Advertisement No. 08-Exam/2026, Excise Constable Mains Examination (PET-2025)/09.
- Selection is against 722 vacant Excise Constable posts.
- The mains examination is proposed to be held on 20 September 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
- The advance intimation of examination district is available under the Examination segment on the UPSSSC homepage.
- The same download is also available on the official UPSSSC mobile app.
- A candidate can view the examination district only after depositing the fee prescribed for the mains examination. UPSSSC asks candidates to make that payment before trying to view the intimation.
- The exam district intimation is not the admit card. UPSSSC will inform candidates separately, through the website, when admit cards are issued.
- A valid admit card is compulsory to sit the mains examination.

- If you have not yet paid the mains examination fee, pay it first through the Main Examination Fee Deposition link in the Applicant Segment on upsssc.gov.in.
- Open upsssc.gov.in and go to the Examination segment on the homepage.
- Select the option for Download MAIN Exam Advance Intimation of Exam District, enter the details asked for, and view and download your district.
- The same intimation can be downloaded through the official UPSSSC mobile app.
- Plan your travel to the allotted district for 20 September, keeping in mind the 10:00 AM start.
- Return to the website for the admit card, which is released separately and is compulsory for entry.
