Short Information

UPSSSC is recruiting 1,251 Livestock Extension Officers for the Directorate of Animal Husbandry under Advertisement No. 17-Exam/2026, of which three posts are a separate special-selection quota reserved for OBC candidates. The qualification is narrow and catches people out: Intermediate with the Biology group from the UP Board or an equivalent, plus a compulsory two-year Livestock Extension diploma from a veterinary university or college established by law. The age floor is also higher than most UPSSSC posts at 21 rather than 18. This is the earliest of the three UPSSSC mains advertisements to close — 29 September, a week before the other two.
