RPSC Sub Inspector / Platoon Commander Re-Exam 2021 — Admit Card 17 September, Exam on 20 September

Short Information

The Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander Combined Competitive Re-Examination 2021 for the Home Department will be held on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in two sittings. RPSC has separated the two downloads that candidates usually confuse: your allotted examination district appears on the SSO Portal from 13 September, while the admit card itself is only uploaded on 17 September. One detail decides whether you sit the paper at all — entry closes 60 minutes before the exam begins, and the Commission asks candidates to arrive about two hours early for face recognition and thumb-impression verification.

Eligibility

• This is the re-examination of the Sub Inspector / Platoon Commander Combined Competitive Examination 2021 of the Home Department, conducted by RPSC, Ajmer.
• Both papers are held on the same day, 20 September 2026 — General Hindi in the morning and General Knowledge with General Science in the afternoon.
• Candidates get 10 minutes of extra time in each paper specifically to fill the fifth option on the OMR answer sheet.
• The examination district and the admit card are two separate releases on two different dates. Seeing your district on 13 September does not mean the admit card is out.
• No candidate is admitted to the centre once 60 minutes remain before the paper starts. There is no relaxation after that point.
• The Commission asks candidates to reach the centre roughly two hours before the paper so that security checking, face-recognition and thumb-impression biometric verification and identification can be completed in time.
• Identification requires an up-to-date original colour Aadhaar card. If the photograph on it is old or unclear, carry another original photo ID — driving licence, passport or voter ID — bearing a recent, clear colour photograph.
• A recent, clear colour photograph must also be pasted on the admit card itself.
• Without a clear original photo identity document, entry to the centre is refused.
• The Commission warns candidates against touts, mediators and anyone demanding a bribe or offering any other inducement in connection with its examinations.

How to Apply

1. From 13 September, log in to https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in to see the examination district allotted to you, and plan travel around it.
2. On 17 September, download the admit card from the Admit Card link on https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in using your Application Number and date of birth.
3. Alternatively, log in to the SSO Portal, open Citizen Apps (G2C), select the Recruitment portal link and download the admit card for this examination there.
4. Paste a recent, clear colour photograph on the admit card before the exam day.
5. Carry an up-to-date original colour Aadhaar card. If its photo is old or unclear, also carry a driving licence, passport or voter ID with a clear recent colour photo.
6. Reach the centre about two hours early. Entry shuts 60 minutes before the paper begins.
7. Read the instructions issued along with the admit card — the Commission specifically directs candidates to go through them.
