Eligibility
- Applies only to candidates declared successful in the UP Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Mains) Examination-2025.
- Session 1 reports at 09:30 AM and Session 2 at 02:00 PM; a candidate's roll number decides which date and session, not their choice of post.
- Interviews are held at Saraswati Bhawan inside the UPPSC campus, Prayagraj — first session candidates must reach by 08:00 AM and second session candidates by 12:30 PM, on the date printed against their roll number.
- From 22 September 2026, candidates authenticate on uppsc.up.nic.in with their OTR number and password/OTP, reach the Applicant Dashboard, and use 'Check Latest Status' to download the Interview Letter along with the Application Form, Certification Form, Declaration Form, Mark-sheet Details and a Preferences Form.
- Only the post-groups a candidate is eligible for by qualification and the group they applied under will show up for online preference-filling; the preference must be submitted online and its printout carried to the interview.
- The Commission has separately published a full group-wise list of every post covered by this examination, with the vacancy count and essential/preferred qualification for each — Group 1 (Executive) includes Deputy Collector (34), Deputy Superintendent of Police (56), Assistant Commissioner Commercial Tax (45), Assistant Regional Transport Officer (35), Treasury/Accounts Officer (92), Block Development Officer (85), Excise Inspector (123) and Naib Tehsildar (105) among others, with further posts under Groups 2, 3 and 4.
- Mandatory documents at the interview: self-attested copies of all mark-sheets/degrees and certificates (signed on every page of the printed form set), two self-attested photographs, three plain passport photographs, original mark-sheets/degrees for verification, a caste certificate in the latest prescribed format for UP's reserved-category candidates, an NOC in original from the employer for candidates already serving the Centre or State government, and an EWS certificate as per the government order of 18.02.2019 for EWS candidates.

How to Apply
- From 22 September 2026, log in at uppsc.up.nic.in with your OTR number, go to the Applicant Dashboard and click 'Check Latest Status' for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam-2025 to reach the interview-letter download.
- Download and print: the Interview Letter, Application Form, Certification Form, Declaration Form, Mark-sheet Details Form and the Preferences Form.
- Fill and submit the online preference form for the post-groups you qualify for, then attach its printout to your document set.
- Self-attest every page of the printed forms and gather the required certificates listed above, including originals for verification.
- Report to Saraswati Bhawan, UPPSC campus, Prayagraj, on the date and session your roll number falls into, by 08:00 AM (first session) or 12:30 PM (second session).
