UPPSC has released the screening-exam pattern for Veterinary Officer recruitment under the U.P. Livestock Department (Advt. No. D-6/E-1/2025, Department No. S-2/08, 404 posts, originally advertised on 22 December 2025). The screening exam is fixed for 3 October 2026 and has two objective parts — General Studies/General Knowledge and the Related Subject — for a combined 450 marks in 2 hours, with a further 50 marks reserved for the interview of candidates who clear screening. This notice does not reopen applications; it only tells already-registered candidates what to expect on exam day.

Eligibility

• Applicable only to candidates who already applied against Advt. No. D-6/E-1/2025 for Veterinary Officer, U.P. Livestock Department.
• Screening exam has two objective parts: Part I — General Studies/General Knowledge (50 questions, 150 marks); Part II — Related Subject (100 questions, 300 marks).
• Total 150 questions for 450 marks, to be attempted in 2 hours; each question carries 3 marks.
• Candidates who qualify the screening exam will be called for an interview (personality test) carrying 50 marks.
