Eligibility
- For LDC / Recovery Clerk, the essential qualification is a Higher Secondary School Certificate, or an AICTE-approved diploma from a recognised State Board of Technical Education, plus a six-month computer diploma or course certificate from a recognised institute, typing at 30 wpm in English, knowledge of Konkani, and at least one year of work experience.
- The one year of experience can come from apprenticeship (minimum 335 days), a government or semi-government office, a factory, company or hospital, a recognised educational institute, a registered credit society or bank, an advocate's, CA's, architect's, cost accountant's, company secretary's or engineer's office, or any private establishment employing at least five people. Specific proof documents are required for the private-office routes.
- Candidates with a degree or diploma in Computers, Computer Science, IT, Electronics or allied fields, or an ITI COPA certificate, are exempt from the separate computer course certificate for LDC, Data Entry Operator and Junior Assistant.
- PwD candidates are exempted from the essential experience, by Department of Personnel order dated 08/09/2026.
- Knowledge of Marathi is desirable, not essential.
- Applicants need a valid 15-year residence certificate from the competent authority in Goa and Employment Exchange, Goa registration, along with the other certificates listed in the advertisement.
- Candidates without a valid Goa OBC certificate, including OBC creamy layer, must apply as UR.
- Selection is by a two-tier CBT with no negative marking. CBT-I (60 marks, 75 minutes) is for shortlisting only: English 20, Numerical Ability 10, Reasoning 20, Konkani 10. CBT-II (80 marks, 100 minutes): English 30, Numerical Ability 10, Reasoning 20, Computer proficiency 20.
- Scoring at least 4 out of 10 in the Konkani section is mandatory. Candidates who score less are not evaluated further.
- Minimum passing marks are 45% for UR, 40% for OBC and 35% for SC/ST/PwD.
- Five times the vacancies go from CBT-I to CBT-II for the Level 2 posts, and ten times for the DTP Operator post. A qualifying typing test follows, and final selection is on CBT-II marks.
- After the result, successful candidates for LDC, Data Entry Operator and Junior Assistant choose their post and department through counselling, and the choice cannot be changed.
